An underworld poker game amongst card sharks is interrupted by the second coming of Christ, who comes back to the world cynical, dejected, and having lost faith in humanity. Jesus beats the hell out of everyone at the table and takes all their money with one straight flush after the next until The Man – the best damned card player this side of the Mason Dixon – decides to bluff Jesus with his last stack of chips.
