Every year the Molodist International Film Festival in Kyiv is visited by the constellation of talented directors, actors, producers, recognized professionals in the field of cinematography. However, festival events of this level and scale attracts the attention of wide public - from intellectuals to curious students. In 2002, organizers of the Molodist have decided to combine these two audiences for useful dialogue and launched the first Talent Workshop. Each next have been differed by speakers and topics, however, staying informative and relevant.
During the last years the Workshop has been visited by:
- Star of “Mortal Kombat” and “Pearl Harbor” Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa;
- Maker of the controversial film about the life of skinheads "Russia 88", journalist, and film director Pavlo Bardin;
- US film director Vadim Perelman exchanging the ideas on how to achieve success with one’s debut film in Hollywood;
- Polish film director, author of “With Fire and Sword” Jerzy Hoffman giving advice on how a cinema character should be;

Alex Herman, Jr., a Russian film director, author of "Harpastum", "Paper Soldier" films;
- Dutch film director, maker of the films “The Flying Dutchman” and “The Pointsman” Jos Stelling.
