Ecumenical Jury prizeEcumenical jury prize is awarded every year on the Kyiv Film Festival Molodist in case of its presence on festival. The Ecumenical Jury focuses its attention on films with a special view. It is interested in the artistic quality as well as in religious, social, and people-related questions. It looks at the visions of the creative film directors with a feel for justice, peace, and respect as well as for spiritual dimensions. At the same time it remains open for the suffering and unplumbed depths of human existence, and seeks movie experiences, which give hope. Films of every section of the competition program of the festival are under consideration.
In 2009, the Ecumenical jury have awarded their prize for full-feature film to full-feature film "La Pivellina" by Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel (Italy, Austria), and Diploma to "Wolfy" by Vasiliy Sigaryov (Russia). Members of the jury: Piet Halma (The Netherlands)
