The section “Festival of festivals” has existed in non-competition program of Kyiv international film festival “Molodist” since 1996. This section includes films, which were the winners and participants of competition programs of the most renowned film festivals. Throughout 10 years of its existence, this program presented to the Ukrainian viewers films from the competition programs of the Cannes film festival, Berlin film festival, International film festival in Karlovy Vary, Film festival in San-Sebastian, Netherlands film festival, Venice film festival and many others.

The following films were represented in this program: “Drifting Clouds” directed by Aki Kaurismaki (1996), “The Pillow Book” directed by Peter Greenaway (1997), “No Trains, No Plains” directed by Jos Stelling (1999), “Amelie” by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (2001), “The Isle” directed by Kim Ki-Duk (2001), “Tender Age” directed by Sergey Solovyov (2001), “Mulholland Drive” directed by David Lynch (2002), “Talk to Her” directed by Pedro Almodovar (2002), “Coffee and cigarettes” directed by Jim Jarmusch (2004), “Head in the Clouds” by John Duigan (2004), “Manderlay” directed by Lars von Trier (2005), “The Bow” by Kim Ki-duk (2005), “Dear Wendy” directed by, directed by Thomas Vinterberg (2005), “The Sea Inside” directed by Alejandro Amenabar (2005), “Lights in the Dusk” directed by Aki Kaurismaki.
