FIPRESCI Jury prize

The International Federation of Film Press (FIPRESCI) Jury prize has been given at Kyiv «Molodist» International Film Festival  since1993 in the case of its presence at the festival. The prize is meant to reward what the jury sees as enterprising filmmaking. The winner of the FIPRESCI prize receives a diploma which contains the title and name of the director of the winning film. Only in exceptional cases the jury may decide not to award any film at all. In such a case, the jury has to make an argument for the decision.
