Afisha magazine represents “The French cinema”, exhibition of film stars portraits taken by Carole Bellaiche and Frederic Poletti, chronicler of the magazine Cahiers du сinema.  

Cahiers du сinema is the legendary French magazine about cinema founded in 1951 in Paris. Francois Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Claude Chabrol, Éric Rohmer – the great film directors who then founded French New Wave, an influential cinema movement, regularly appeared on its pages as film critics.       

From October the 2nd till November the 9th you can see the portraits of Catherine Deneuve, Fanny Ardant, Isabelle Huppert, Juliette Binoche, Sharlotta Rempling, Asia Argento, Jane Birkin and twenty other celebrities of world cinema in Shevchenko Park. Vive la France!
