Alexey German, Jr. was born in Moscow on September 4, 1976. He studied in the St. Petersburg State Art Academy, then in the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow from where he graduated in 2001. Alexey German, Jr. is recipient of «Nika» — the Prize of the Russian Academy of Cinema — in 2004 nominated as «Discovery of the year» (film The Last Train — Posledny Poezd) and in 2005 for directing (film Garpastum). Both films participated in the official program of the film festival in Venice. Film The Last Train (Posledny Poezd) received a Special Mention of the Jury for Best Debut in 2003 and the film Garpastum participated in the official competition in 2005. Alexey German Jr. is recipient of multiple prizes of film festivals.

Filip Bajon,

Before becoming a feature-film director, Filip Bajon established himself in the late '70s as one of Poland's most innovative television directors. Prior to entering the entertainment industry, Bajon studied law at Adam Mickiewicz University in his hometown of Poznan. He graduated in 1970 and shortly thereafter, Bajon studied film direction at the Load Film School. He scripted and directed his first feature film, Aria dla Atlety/Aria for an Athlete, in 1979. In addition to directing for television and feature films, Bajon occasionally helms theatrical productions and offers lectures in film direction and screenwriting at film schools throughout Europe.

John Irvin,

Born — 1940 in England. An assistant editor in British films, Irvin began making documentaries in the '70s, and in 1980 helmed his first feature, the Frederick Forsyth adaptation The Dogs of War. A sturdy if impersonal craftsman, Irvin also helmed Fred Astaire's final film, the horror tale Ghost Story; the romantic comedy Turtle Diary, scripted by Harold Pinter; and the Vietnam War drama Hamburger Hill.

Born on November 19, 1959 in the village of Pishchiv, Novohrad-Volynskiy region, Zhytomyr district. Graduated from the Film department of the Kyiv Karpenko-Kariy theatrical institute in 1990 as the film expert. In 1988-1995 was the member of the Selection commission and Chief of press-service at Kyiv IFF «Molodist». Worked as the Chief of criticism and Ukrainian feature film departments at the «Novyny kinoekranu»/"News of Screen" magazine (1989-1993).
Editor-in-chief of the KINO-KOLO magazine, the book-house of the same name, the Ukrainian Movie Portal KINOKOLO.UA, the festival KINO-KOЛОnewspaper, as well as the electronic English-language newspaper KINO-KOLOdigest. Since 1999 he is the author and presenter of the weekly program ARGUMENT-KINO at the «1+1» TV channel.

Miroljub Vuckovic

Miroljub Vuckovic was born in 1952. General Manager of the Film Institute Belgrade since 1995. Program Director of FEST — the Belgrade International Film Festival since 1997. Chairman of the South East European Cinema Network — SEE CN, est. 2000, aimed to encourage and support cooperation in the field of cinema in the region. From 1979 engaged in various research and projects of the Film Institute, such as retrospectives of the Yugoslav films in Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and Cinematheque Royale in Brussels. Promoter of foreign films in Yugoslavia. Film critic and author of the monthly TV program «Cinema Art» (1995-1998). Author of numerous interviews and TV portraits.
He has published popular articles and film essays in various local and foreign press editions. Adviser to numerous international film festivals, he has curated film programs in Rotterdam, Karlovy Vary, Sochi, Florence, and Vienna.
