A one week holiday presented to cinema lovers by the 42nd Molodist IFF cones to an end. Just a moment ago the solemn Closing Ceremony ended, where the winning films of this year's Festival were names and awarded. After long and truly ardent discussions the juries chose the best movies, made through the plast year in the world of cinema, where no geographical boundaries exist.
The Grand Prix of Molodist IFF was awarded to "L" by Babis Makridis (Greece). The prize is "The Golden Scythian Deer" statuette and a certificate for UAH 80 000, awarded by Viktoriya Tsomaya, marketing director of the Ukrainian State lotteries operator "M.S.L.".
The prize for the Best Feature Film: "Gimme the Loot" by Adam Leon (USA). The prize is a certificate for USD 2500 and Jury diploma.
Jury diplomas (Special Mentions) were awarded to Ту Hickson for his role in «Gimme the Loot» by Adam Leon (USA) and Begum Akkaya for her role in "Kuma" by Umut Dag (Austria).
The Best Short Film: "Oh Willy...'"'by Emma De Swaef, Marc James Roels (Belgium, France, Netherlands). The prize is a certificate for USD 2500 and Jury diploma.
Jury diplomas (Special Mentions) were awarded to: "Human Factor" by Thibault LeTexier (France), for the most profound portrayal of crisis; "Circus" by Pablo Remon (Spain), for the funniest film about crisis.
The prize for the Best Student Film was divided between two winners: "Return" by Shay Levi (Israel) and "The Road To.. " byTaisia Igumentseva (Russia). The prize is a certificate for USD 1250 and Jury diploma.
Jury diplomas (Special Mentions) were awarded to: "Without Snow" by Magnus von Horn (Poland), for describing teenage problems; "I'm a Self-Made Woman" by Sonja Tarokic (Croatia), for precision and observation; "Wanda &Marlene"by Judith Beuth (Germany), for courage.
International Jury: Zoltan Kamondi (Head of the Jury), Theodore Ushev Boris Khlebnikov Harutyun Khachatryan Natalia Sumska.
The Best film of the National Competition is “Independence Day”, by Antonina Noyabrova (Ukraine). The film received an award from the "Star Media" group of companies in the amount of UAH 20,000, that was awarded by the Head of the Board of directors of the group Mr. Vlad Riashyn.
Jury diplomas (Special Mentions) were awarded to: the film "Between 20 and Midnight" by Denis Spolitak (Ukraine), for sincerity of a sentimental expression and inventiveness in search for artistic forms; the film "Hamburg" by Volodymyr Tykhyi (Ukraine), for a smart laconicism in diagnosing a state of human nature.
National Competition Jury: Vladyslav Riashyn (Head of the Jury), Ivan Kozlenko, Serhiy Vasyliev.
Ecumenical Jury prizes are awarded to the short film "Oh Willy...." by Emma DeSwaefand, Marc James Roels (Belgium, France, Netherlands) and the feature film "Hemel" by Sacha Polak (Netherlands, Spain).

Fipresci Jury prize is awarded to the film "A Beautiful Valley" by Hadar Friedlich (Israel-France).

The Audiences's award together with a camera EOS D60 from the Canon representative office in Ukraine went to "A Furtive Tear" by Carlo Vogele (USA, 2011).
