It's a beautiful summer day, and a teenager, her mother and grandmother visit the young girl's great grandmother, who has recently entered a nursing home. The visit is filled with tensions, meaningful silences, guilty consciences and failed expectations. But also it offers an unexpected moment of happiness between an old woman and a young girl.
