The Winners of the Film Festival Molodist-2005


The Main Jury of the Molodist 2005 has awarded the following prizes:  
  • Grand Prix for the best competition film ($10,000) and the statuette «The Scythian Deer» ( the sponsor is Lotto-Zabava) is awarded to the film «Accused» («Anklaget») directed by Jacob Thuesen (Denmark)
  • Prize for the best feature film (of $2,500– the sponsor is Television company «1+1»  and Innova film) is awarded to the film «Iceberg» («L’iceberg») by Fiona Gordon, Dominique Abel, Bruno Romy (Belgium)
  • Prize for the best short (fiction, animation, documentary) film ($2,500 in sub-titling by «Laser Video Titres») is awarded to «Hammer» («Martillo») by Miguel Salazar (Columbia, USA)
  • Prize for the best student film ($2,500 from Kiev IFF Molodist) is awarded to the film «Melodrama» («Melodramat») by Filip Marczewski (Poland) and to the film  «The two of us» («Vdvoem») by Nikolay Khomeriki (France/Russia)
  • «Yves Montand prize» for the best performance by a young actor/actress (1,000 EUR — the sponsor  is The Embassy of France in Ukraine) is awarded to Fiona Gordon («Iceberg» by Fiona Gordon, Dominique Abel, Bruno Romy (Belgium) and to Marcell Nagy («Fateless» by Lajos Koltai, Hungary)
Audience prize (a Samsung camcorder) is awarded to the film — «Home game» («Hjemmerkamp», by Martin Lund, Norway)

The prize for the development of the Ukrainian cinema from the «Ukraine 3000» Foundation (the chief of the Trustee Council Kateryna Yushenko) is awarded to Larysa Kadochnikova (actress, Ukraine)
  
The Main Jury of the Molodist 2005 has awarded the following diplomas:
  • the feature film «Go West» by Ahmed Imamovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
  • the feature film «Polumgla» by Artem Antonov (Russia)
  • the feature film «Fateless» by Lajos Koltai (Hungary, Germany, UK) 
  • the short film  «Moustache» by Viсki Sugars (Australia)
    the short film  «Home Game» («Hjemmerkamp»), by Martin Lund (Norway)
  • the student film «The ecstatic» by Till Passow (Pakistan/ Germany)
  • the student film «Subway score» by Alexander Isert (Germany)
  • the student film «Dear friends» by Toni Trupia (Italy)
  • the student film «Subsidiary Farm» by Egor Anashkin (Russia)
 
FIPRESCI Jury of Molodist 2005 has awarded the following prizes:
The Film winner is: «From the Land of Silence», directed by Saman Salur, Iran
 
FICC Jury of Molodist 2005 has awarded the following prizes:
The «Don Kihot» prize is awarded to the film «Go West» directed by Ahmed Imamovic, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Special Diploma is awarded to the film «Mustache» by Viсki Sugars, Australia
The Diploma from cinema clubs of Italy, Sweden and Ukraine is awarded to the film «More harm than good» («Vedmezha posluga») by Evgen Alyekhin and Lyudmila Mishchenko, Ukraine
 
Ecumenical Jury of Molodist 2005 has awarded the following prizes:
The prize is given to the film «Paired off» («Impar Par») directed by Esmir Filho , Brazil
The commendation is given to the film «Fateless» directed by Lajos Koltai, Hungary
 
Jury of the Program «Ukrainian panorama 2004-2005» has awarded the following prizes:
The prize of the «Dzerkalo tyzhnia» newspaper ($1000) for the best film from «Ukrainian panorama 2004-2005» is awarded to «Snow will cover roads» by Evgen Syvokin’
 
Honored prizes for the contribution to the world cinematography («The Scythian Deer» statuettes) were awarded to Roman Polanski (France), John Irvin (The Great Britain) and Gérard Jugnot (France)
