Nadia Parfan is an award-winning writer-director from Kyiv, Ukraine. She studied social anthropology and urban studies and attended the Wajda Film School in Poland. Her feature documentary HEAT SINGERS was commissioned by NHK Japan and awarded Best Documentary by the Ukrainian Film Academy and the Ukrainian Film Critics’ Union (2019). Nadia is a member of the Ukrainian Film Academy, the Ukrainian Documentary Guild, and a Film Independent Fellow.
