Charlène Favier, born in 1985 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, is a French filmmaker and screenwriter. She grew up in Savoie, where she trained in competitive skiing before turning to cinema. After studying at EICAR and the Prague Film School, she directed SLALOM (2020), a drama about sexual abuse in sports, which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival.
