In wartime Kharkiv, where horror has become the norm, Margo, pregnant, awaits her soldier. Andreï, a filmmaker, visits to reconnect with her but is drawn into the city's spirit. Amid the bombs, his new friends defy fear, and hope remains unbroken.
Andrei Vaitovich, 31, is a Belarus-born, French-naturalized film director and journalist. He worked as a journalist for RFI, RFE/RL, and Euronews. In 2021, he directed the documentary RAZAM about the Belarusian protests, covering events for leading French-speaking media in France, Switzerland, and Belgium. In 2022, he adapted the play ‘Dogs of Europe’ into French for Paris’ Odéon Theatre. Part of his family lives in France as refugees, while others remain in Ukraine.
