Aruan Anartay
Darkhan, a budding scientist, returns home after a seven-year leave of absence, accompanied by his girlfriend Elena. His Grandpa Sagat invites them to join him on a journey to the land of his ancestors, far away.
Aruan Anartayev is a film director and producer based in Central Asia, Kazakhstan. Aruan has a fiction cinematography, creative documentary and individual direction education background. Since 2017, Aruan has worked as an executive producer at the documentary film studio Tihiy Svet in Almaty. As a producer, he led the production of commissioned films, social impact films and authors’ creative documentaries.
