Mr. Ham decides to have his heart removed to find relief from his complicated feelings. The doctor assures him that, in this day and age, such a procedure is no longer a problem. However, after the removal, Ham keeps his heart for a while — perhaps to understand it better after all.

Fanny Sorgo, writer and director, was born in Austria in 1993. Between 2012 and 2016, she studied dramatic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts, where she also took a master’s in narrative film from 2016 to 2018. Having completed both degrees, she has worked internationally as a transdisciplinary artist in text, film, music, and performance, including being commissioned to write a libretto for the Deutsche Oper Berlin. In 2023 she was awarded a drama scholarship by the City of Vienna.

Eva Pedroza, born in Argentina in 1982, is a multidisciplinary artist working at the interface of film and fine art. She studied at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires and the Berlin University of the Arts. Her work has been featured in various exhibitions, including at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Literaturhaus Berlin, and Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. From 2013 to 2017, she was a scholarship holder of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.
