Alexis Diop studied film theory at Paris 3 — Sorbonne Nouvelle. His short film BEFORE TIM, starring Françoise Lebrun and Pauline Lorillard, won the Grand Prix Contrebande at the FIFIB. It was also broadcast on Mubi and screened at the Cinémathèque française in 2021. Currently, he’s developing his first feature as part of the Atelier scénario at La Fémis.
