Tõnis Pill
Following a serious domestic violence incident, 13-year-old Paul arrives in an unfamiliar town, where, in his pursuit of happiness, he makes one bad decision after another. His seemingly inevitable downfall is thwarted, however, by a strange disabled man.
Tõnis Pill was born in 1992 in Tallinn, graduated from the Baltic Film, Media, Arts, and Communication School (BFM) at Tallinn University with a degree in film directing, and has furthered his education in various directing and screenwriting workshops. In his work, Pill strives to create a realistic world that the viewer never doubts, while always adding a twist or detail that makes the realistic world believably extraordinary.
