Jozo Schmuch
Marija’s son, Luka, who disappeared during the war thirty years ago, appears on her doorstep. Luka still looks the same as the last time she saw him, when he was twenty years old. After the initial shock, Marija accepts his impossible return.
Jozo Schmuch (b. 1993) is a Croatian film and television director who holds a Master's degree in Film and TV Direction from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. His narrative and documentary short films explore themes of identity, memory, and social tension through a poetic and emotionally resonant lens.
