In war-torn Ukraine, every day may be your last. Sasha must return to the front line with his battalion in the morning. Maria, as his mistress, contemplates a heart-wrenching decision: go with him to the war or stay in Kyiv knowing that, dead or alive, he will always belong to his family.
Gaia, a writer and director from Ukraine, earned her BA in Documentary Filmmaking with the intent to delve deep into the intricate psychology of human behaviour. Her recent experience as a military volunteer in the Ukraine war has given her a unique perspective on modern human morality. Gaia’s films focus on individuals resisting fate and injustice while uncovering truth in life's tangled emotions and complexities.
