Lauri-Matti Parrppei is a filmmaker, musician, and visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland. A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT is their debut feature film. Their midform TV series, A STRANGE SUMMER (2022), showcased Lauri-Matti's unique storytelling style and gained recognition by being selected to Series Mania competition. Beyond filmmaking, Lauri-Matti is the singer-songwriter of the band ‘Musta valo’.
