Actor and director, Gerard Oms (Barcelona, Spain, 1983) trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and at the Parnassos School in Utrecht. He has worked as an acting coach for Mario Casas, Ana Wagener, Bárbara Lennie, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Óscar Casas, and Patrick Criado, amongst others. In 2021, he directed his first short film, INEFABLE, winner of first prize at the Huesca Festival and selected for competitions such as those of Brussels, Chicago, and Málaga. The second, HAS ESTADO, HACE TIEMPO (2022), premiered at the SEMINCI. Molt Iluny / Away, his first feature film, won two Silver Biznagas in Málaga, that of Best Actor (Mario Casas) and the Critics' Jury Prize.
