Isabella Brunäcker
Late summer. For Iga, a young woman in her late twenties, it is a time of daydreaming and chasing an idealized notion of happiness. She decides to drive to Scotland by car. When she meets Ethan, a 30-year-old Englishman, on the way and joins him on the journey, she begins to understand herself better and questions her goals.
Isabella Brunäcker, born in 1984, lived and worked in Salzburg and London, currently in Vienna. She studied English and American Literature in Salzburg, Film at the School Friedl Kubelka, and Video & Video Installation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 2019, she received the Birgit Jürgenssen Prize and the Film scholarship from Salzburg.
