Daoist Looking Back

FILM INFO

According to the philosophical and religious tradition of Ancient China, a Daoist is a person who strives to live in harmony with the natural course of things, following the principles of balance and simplicity. Perhaps this very idea served as the foundation for Surkov’s surreal and plotless film. At the same time, it is a melancholic sketch of Troieshchyna in the late 1990s.
